Cable Release
is the monthly NJFCC newsletter. Distributed to the delegates at
the monthly NJFCC meeting, an electronic edition is available for
download in PDF format. A free copy of Adobe Acrobat
Reader 5.0 can be downloaded from the Adobe website, http://www.adobe.com/.
Note: You must have at least Adobe Reader or plug-in version 5.0
or higher to view the file properly.
For
your convenience, the file size (in kilobytes) has been noted next to
each issue to help you determine download time. This should help
determine how much time it will take via dial up or high-speed line.
For more information about saving files, scroll down to see various ways
you may save the files to your PC.

Saving
Files
Each browser
provides some type of "Save As" functionality, in the event
you wish to download the file instead of viewing within the browser with
an Acrobat Reader Plug-in. For instance, if you right-click an issue
link in Netscape, you can "Save Link As" and select where on
your PC to download the file. In Internet Explorer you can do the
same thing with right-click and selecting "Save Target".
In both cases, the browser will give you a continuing status as to how
much (percentage wise) has been downloaded.
If you view
an issue with the Acrobat Reader Plug-in with your browser, you can click
the floppy-drive icon in the upper left part of the screen to save the
file to your PC. The browser status bar at the bottom will tell
you how much as been saved.

Issues
There have
been some problems reported concerning printing The Cable Release
via the Acrobat Plug-in used with a browser. Please save the PDF
file to your PC and open it with the Adobe Acrobat Reader software, rather
than the browser's Acrobat Reader plug-in. To accomplish this, place
your mouse over the issue and use the browser's built-in "Save As"
function to store the issue to your PC.
Click
